HOW TO PRAY

And when the time

For prayers

Chimes,

The cross’s sign

Mimic,

And unadulterated thanks

To the Almighty,

Render.

For everything going on

In your life,

Appreciate Him.

Next, for forgiveness,

Seek.

This should as a form

Of confession

To your Maker, come.

Beg him to more of you

Take

And more of him

To you, give.

Entreat him

To your iniquities

Away wash,

So whiter than snow,

You will become.

Lastly, in Jesus’s Mighty name,

Pray

And your life

With Jesus’s precious blood,

Umbrella.

Ask the Almighty to

In your life, intercede

And divine doors for you,

Open.

Always your supplications

With Jesus’s mighty name

End.

These, with faith

Do,

And the rustling breeze

Of calm and relief,

Feel.

Do not despair

If your requests are not

Immediately met,

He knows best.

Instead, the campfire

Of your faith

Stoke,

And at His appointed time,

Like the caged Israelites

In Egypt,

He will you liberate.

Just your Faith

Keep honing and honking,

For Faith, the engine

To prayers, is.
